About the Schools : Connex Education have been supplying teaching assistants to primary schools in Southport for over 10 years. We work in partnership with primary schools in the following areas:
- Ainsdale
- Birkdale
- Southport (centre)
- Churchtown
About the roles : With the surge in demand for teaching assistants in Southport, Connex Education are currently recruiting full-time and part-time teaching assistants.
The following are the type of bookings that could be available for you:
- Full-time general classroom support in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Split roles - cover in different year groups throughout the day.
- Long-term 1:1 support for children with special educational needs.
- Temp-to-perm roles - transition onto school contracts when schools request notice for staff.
- Part-time bookings - day-to-day cover for full days and half-days.

Qualifications and requirements :
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
- Experience supporting children in primary schools is essential.
