Both Full time and Part time shifts between Wednesdays to Mondays. The only day we are closed is a Tuesday. Start time is 8.30.
Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items safely, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with other staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driver's licence; experience with commercial driving is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems is beneficial.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
