We are offering an exciting opportunity for Advanced Practitioner - Head and Neck to join our team in a forward-thinking radiotherapy department at Velindre Cancer Service.
Main duties of the job:
- The Advanced Practitioner Radiographer will be an expert practitioner in a specific part of the radiotherapy pathway, in one of the tumour site specific clinical teams in Velindre Cancer Centre.
- An Advanced Practitioner will work within the pillars of Advanced Practice Framework.
- Managing and actively participating in the Radiographer led Head and neck service for patients, including consent and the clinical assessment of patient’s fitness for treatment.
- The post holder shall contribute to enhancing service delivery and service development for a specified tumour site by implementing best and evidence-based practice across their specific area of the radiotherapy pathway.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential:- B.Sc. (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers DCR (T)
