Become our HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver, hauling loads safely and on time across the UK. Shifts are built to work for you, backed by a friendly traffic planning team and a modern, well-maintained fleet.
What you’ll do:
- Safely load, drive, and deliver goods following scheduled routes and accurate delivery instructions.
- Ensure every load is secure and accurate - you're responsible for what's in your charge.
- Get proof of delivery, handle quick customer queries, and leave every stop on a positive note.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness, and report defects to your DC team immediately.
- Drive safely and efficiently, complying with The Highway Code, tachograph rules, and all vehicle regulations.
- Uphold health and safety standards at every stage of the job.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- UK digital tachograph card.
- Driver CPC.
- Minimum 1 year commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Curtain side trailers.
- General haulage.
- Ratchet strapping (1 year preferred).
