Catch22 exists to help build a society where everyone has a good place to live, good people around them, and a fulfilling purpose. We call these our '3Ps'. We achieve this by delivering frontline public services and by using our knowledge to fix the system, with the heart of a charity and the mindset of a business.

We are delivering a creative and digital skills programme for 16-24 year olds who are not in education, employment or training. The programme tackles youth unemployment and supports young people onto long-term education, work and training opportunities in the creative and digital sectors.

We seek a diverse workforce and welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds and experiences who are proactive, organised and resilient to meet the varying demands of the role.

Responsibilities
  • To deliver a range of supportive interventions to help a wide range of young people work towards sustainable employment.
  • To effectively engage young people and attach them to existing and new employability programmes/interventions.
  • To deliver high quality end to end Information, Advice and Guidance to young people on our employability programmes.
  • To promote and develop the mind-set, emotional intelligence qualities, self-confidence and esteem so that the young people succeed in the world of work.
  • To complete goal focused action plans for all referred young people and provide support and motivation for them to implement their action plans.
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have
  • Passion to support young people in achieving their goals and experience of successfully engaging young people with barriers to engagement.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with referral partners, training providers and employers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Approachable, adaptable and supportive to the range of stakeholders involved in this programme.
  • Ability to develop strong rapport.
  • Ability to positively challenge mind-sets.
Qualifications
  • Relevant professional qualification: Ability to generate referrals essential.
  • Knowledge of approaches including coaching and emotional intelligence to ensure people are well prepared for the world of work.
  • Experience of providing high quality CV, job search and interview support to learners/job seekers.
  • Experience of liaising with employers to arrange interviews and obtaining feedback on candidates.
  • Identifying skills and qualities in a learner to match appropriately with vacancies.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with referral partners to ensure a constant flow of new referrals.
Additional Information
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours & work pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week
  • Salary: ÂŁ29,000
  • Location: Based in the Midlands or North of England. Remote working with travel to jobs fairs and Jobcentre Plus sites (JCPs) expected minimum 4 times a month.
  • Screening: Successful admission subject to enhanced DBS check.
