At Catch22, we are proud of our reputation as a modern and progressive employer. Our 1,300 colleagues and 300 volunteers work at every stage of the social welfare cycle, supporting over 60,000 individuals from cradle to career. Our work spans education, social justice and rehabilitation, children’s social care, family support, social action and getting people into work.

Our Suffolk Positive Futures service aims to transform young people’s lives and make a significant impact on reducing crime and youth violence in local communities while promoting positive emotional wellbeing. Staff reach out to young people one by one within their community, at times when they need support the most; staff are known and trusted within the key areas. Positive Futures addresses root causes of serious youth crime and contributes directly to making Suffolk a safer place.

We do this by:

  • diverting young people from anti-social behaviour and gang-related activity
  • supporting local communities to tackle anti-social behaviour through engagement and diversion activities
  • addressing the risk factors and strengthening the protective factors to enable young people to choose leadership and positive community action instead of crime
  • reducing crime and, by preventing offending and anti-social behaviour, decreasing demand for front-line criminal justice services
  • tackling alcohol and drug abuse.

  • Arrive in time to assist with setting up any equipment needed to run and start the class on time.
