We are looking for a Liverpool Youth Trailblazer Programme Co‑Ordinator to support NEET young people in accessing employment and overcoming barriers to work.
Your Main Duties
- Coordinate a programme to support NEET young people in accessing meaningful employment and overcoming barriers to work.
- Provide tailored one-to-one mentoring and practical employability support to a caseload of young people from sign-up through to in-work support.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders including funders, partners and other organisations delivering the youth trailblazer programme, ensuring comprehensive programme co‑ordination.
- Connect participants with local employers for exclusive job opportunities and work experience.
- Empower young people to build sustainable careers and thrive in the local job market.

- Develop strong relationships with referral partners, training providers, employers and NEET young people aged 18‑21.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills; approachable, adaptable and supportive to the range of stakeholders involved in this programme.
- Build strong rapport and positively guide young people to re‑evaluate their approach to challenges and manage them in new ways.
- Deliver a positive experience for young people, enabling them to achieve their goals.
Experience
- Coaching and delivering services within the employability sector.
- Supporting young people facing barriers to employment, including care‑experienced young people.
- Delivering employability support, coaching or mentoring, including job search, interview preparation and in‑work support.
- Experience working in partnership with a range of stakeholders, including commissioners and trailblazer partners.
