In Justice, we work with young people and adults in custody and in the community, providing a range of services including offender management and resettlement, mentoring, veterans in custody, victim services, gangs work and youth justice. We believe that with effective support mechanisms and the correct interventions, we can change service user’s ideology, helping them desist from crime and reach their true potential.

Beacon Victim Care provides tailored support to help victims of crime cope, recover, and move forward. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Service. As Head of Service, you will work with the Head of Service to ensure a strategic and operational running of the Victim Service and Beacon Youth Hub. You will be an inspirational leader who promotes the values, aims and objectives of Catch22 and shows an understanding and commitment to the needs of victims and witnesses and how the Victim Service can most effectively address these needs.

You will ensure the effective delivery of cope and recover services for victims and witnesses through the effective line management of Caseworkers responsible for caseloads. You will maintain a close working relationship with Police partners, statutory services and voluntary agencies ensuring relationships are effectively managed and pathways of support for victims remain seamless to provide a high quality and consistent service. You will also contribute to the growth of Catch22’s Justice Directorate business activity, with a particular focus on growing our Victim Service footprint nationally.

As the Head of Service, you will provide strategic oversight and effective running of the Victim Service and Beacon Youth Hub, you will have a great opportunity to be involved in a number of varied projects working at the heart of the delivery of our strategic ambition. Salary: £44,834 per annum
Contract: 12 month fixed term maternity cover from January 2027
Vetting and Clearance Requirements: NPPV 2 (Police Vetting), Enhanced DBS check
Interviews: 9th and 10th September at Hertfordshire Police Headquarters, Welwyn Garden City
