Job Description
This is a full-time prison/office based role. There is the option for compressed hours on a 4 day week, or 9 day fortnight if deemed appropriate. This is not a hybrid/remote role.
An exciting opportunity to work for the Offender Management unit (OMU) at HMP Thameside, the only OMU in the country delivered by a third sector organisation since its opening in 2012. Following a recent Prison inspection, Charlie Taylor (HM Chief Inspector of Prisons) described this service to be "the best provision (he) had seen during the last year".
We are seeking a driven individual who strives for best practice and is passionate in making a difference to people\'s lives. In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of a high performing Offender Management Service with its function to identify, assess, address, and reduce risks of sentenced prisoners, whilst also motivating them to engage positively within custodial regime.
