Our leading partner client, a boutique finance & technology consultancy is seeking an EPM Engagement Manager to join their team and assist with the successful delivery of client projects across our transformation portfolio, from technical implementations to strategic advisory work. You will manage project delivery end to end including financials, resourcing and governance, ensuring engagements are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Hands‑on experience delivering technical software implementations, ideally within or supporting finance functions, using structured delivery methodologies from requirements through to deployment.
- Strong project management experience in a technology environment; exposure to EPM or CPM solutions is beneficial but not required.
- High proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and confidence working in data‑ and systems‑driven environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with clients, provide clear guidance, and offer constructive challenge.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, perform under pressure, and thrive in a fast‑paced, growing organisation.
- Enjoys building client and vendor relationships, working closely with leadership, and contributing to new initiatives while developing and mentoring others.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of finance transformation projects across multiple technologies, providing guidance to clients and delivery teams.
- Oversee project governance, including planning, resourcing, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Implement and maintain best‑practice delivery processes aligned with the organisation’s project framework and methodologies.
- Track project progress, coordinate resources, and ensure milestones and deliverables are met while providing clear client updates.
- Support business growth by contributing to proposals and RFPs, identifying new opportunities, and mentoring junior team members.
