Our client is looking for two Agile Delivery Leads to join their team. These delivery leads will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of a specific cross-functional initiative that spans both IT and the wider business. Working closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Scrum teams, and technical leads to maintain momentum, manage risks, and ensure the initiative remains aligned to scope, timelines, and intended outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams or workstreams in an IT or business change environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for senior audiences.
- Experience working alongside Agile delivery teams and familiarity with frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
- Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations with calm, confident judgement.
- Practical experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clear, integrated delivery plan for the initiative across business and IT workstreams.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities, ensuring the right people are engaged and decisions flow at the pace needed.
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies across the initiative and ensure they are surfaced and managed promptly.
- Work with Product Owners and business leads to keep scope, priorities, and outcomes visible and up to date.
- Provide concise, reliable progress reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between IT delivery teams and business areas impacted by the initiative.
- Facilitate discussions where priorities or timelines require adjustment, helping to reach sensible and timely decisions.
- Liaise with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and technical leads to understand how work is progressing within their teams.
- Ensure that initiative-level plans and priorities flow clearly into PI Planning and are reflected in the work of the relevant delivery teams.
- Help unblock cross-team or cross-department impediments that sit outside the remit of individual teams.
- Coordinate tasks, workshops, and hand-offs involving non-IT stakeholders such as operations, finance, compliance, and business change.
- Monitor readiness for key milestones, releases, or change events.
- Maintain document sets, decisions, assumptions, and timelines so that the initiative remains transparent and auditable.
