Our leading global end-user client, based on the outskirts of Cambridge, is looking to appoint a Scrum Master on a permanent basis. The need has been created as the client starts on a global digital transformation programme of work. The role will be responsible for managing business projects and teams of various stakeholders. The client works on a hybrid basis; roughly 50% of your time working from the office/home.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in delivering/managing Agile projects as Scrum Master.
  • Experience in using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in running sprints and releases using Jira.
  • Well-versed with Agile ways of working and experience in running projects using Scrum.
  • Knowledge of DevOps is essential.
  • Preferably certified scrum master or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in large-scale software deployments; multi-national is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence key stakeholders up to a senior level.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups as needed.
  • Planning & managing iteration/sprint planning meetings.
  • Sprint reviews - Participate in the meeting and capture feedback.
  • Retrospectives - Note areas for improvement and action items for future sprints.
  • Meet individually with team members and stakeholders as needed.
  • Reporting - Regular analysis of burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools to understand what gets built and at what cadence.
  • Coaching and mentoring teams to adopt the agile mindset and ways of working.
  • Tracking and monitoring impediments and managing conflict.
  • Supporting the full product development lifecycle.
  • Developing Agile solutions for clients and the continuous improvement of tools and frameworks.
  • Taking learnings and applying them to support the growth of Agile practices.

Location: Hybrid – Cambridge/Remote Candidates must be eligible to work in this country.
