Catch 22 are working with a charity organisation who are seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead on all aspects of physical and technical security, ensuring the safety of their estate. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic security policy and operational delivery within a respected public facing organisation in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the delivery of security operations of a large commercial estate
- Provide specialist advice on security risk management and compliance
- Lead on incident management planning and response
- Build strong relationships with emergency services and sector networks
- Monitor and manage security contracts and supplier performance
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for staff and contractors
- Ensure compliance with SIA, NPSA, and relevant legislation
- Produce detailed reports and risk assessments for senior leadership
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a senior security role, ideally in a public or cultural setting
- Strong knowledge of security systems, risk management, and compliance
- Confident working with external stakeholders, emergency services, and internal teams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage projects, budgets, and team rotas effectively
- SIA licence and knowledge of security standards desirable
Role package and details:
- Salary of £38,000
- 36 hour week
- Permanent contract Mon - Fri, but flexibility needed to work occasional bank holidays, evenings and weekends
- Static site (May be required to travel to other sites for meetings)
- 27.5 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- 25% off staff shop + 10% off food and drink in on-site café
- Pension scheme + 2.5% (At a maximum at 9%)
