We are looking for a small team of porters to work at a school over the summer time. This will be on a temporary ad-hoc basis so availability is key. Due to the nature of the role, an enhanced DBS is required, along with a full 10-year checkable history.
Flexible Shifts: 7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm (Ad hoc / temp cover)
Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Setting up classrooms, halls and spaces for school activities as well as events
- Moving furniture and equipment as required across the site
- Supporting with deliveries and distributing goods around the school
- Carrying out general porterage duties to keep the site running smoothly
- Assisting the wider facilities team with day-to-day operational tasks
Who We’re Looking For:
- Previous porter experience is essential
- Enhanced DBS (in-date) is required
- Reliable, hardworking, and happy with manual handling
