We're currently recruiting for a hands-on Specialist Building Maintenance Operative to support a busy site team over the summer period. The role will be predominantly based at Halifax, however occasional travel through West Yorkshire may also be required. This is required for 8 weeks over July and August.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plastering works, including patching, repairs, and making good
- Support general building fabric maintenance across the site
- Undertake a range of multi-skilled repairs (minor joinery, painting, basic maintenance)
- Assist with planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Work closely with the site team to ensure the buildings are safe, presentable, and fully operational
- Occasionally travel to nearby sites as required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in General Building Works and Plastering (essential)
- Background in building maintenance, property maintenance, or FM environments
- Ability to turn your hand to multi-trade tasks where needed
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
