Catch 22 are recruiting on Trainee Validation Technicians on behalf of a growing specialist technical services business operating within highly regulated environments across the UK. The Role

You'll be working with a specialist clean air technology business that supports hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturers and research facilities through the testing, validation and certification of critical environments and equipment. Combining hands-on site work with technical reporting, you'll carry out testing and certification activities within cleanrooms, laboratories and healthcare environments. From taking accurate readings and using specialist equipment to producing compliance reports, you'll play a key role in delivering the data clients rely on to keep their facilities safe, operational and compliant. This is a field-based role involving regional travel and regular overnight stays, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to work in some of the UK's most advanced healthcare, scientific and research environments.

Ideal Candidate

We're open to candidates with no previous validation experience. What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to work professionally in a technical environment. You should have:

  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • A willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home regularly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • A professional and reliable approach
  • The ability to pass enhanced security and background checks
  • A background in engineering, facilities management, HVAC, laboratories, science, manufacturing or other technical environments would be beneficial, but is not essential.
