Domestic Plumber

Catch 22 are recruiting on behalf of an established maintenance contractor specialising in affordable housing repairs and maintenance services.

We're looking to speak to experienced Domestic Plumbers to join a reactive repairs team delivering high-quality maintenance works across occupied residential properties throughout Greater London and North London.

There are multiple positions available across several locations, making this a great opportunity for tradespeople looking for a long-term role with a busy and growing business.

Role Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs and general property maintenance




• Attending and resolving issues such as leaks, blockages, faulty taps, toilets and pipework repairs




• Performing minor plumbing installations and replacements




• Delivering first-time fixes across a range of maintenance tasks




• Supporting with basic repairs in other trade disciplines where required




• Working closely with residents and providing excellent customer service




• Using mobile technology to manage jobs and complete reports




• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Domestic Plumber, Maintenance Plumber or Multi-Skilled Operative with a plumbing bias




• Experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within residential properties




• Relevant plumbing qualifications or practical plumbing experience




• Skills in other trades such as carpentry, decorating, plastering, tiling or general maintenance would be advantageous




• Knowledge of social housing or residential maintenance environments




• Strong customer service skills




• Experience using PDA or mobile job management systems




• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

This is a full-time, permanent role paying around £45,000.
