Job Title:Domestic Caretaker
Healthcare Environment
Location:Various across Leeds
This role requires an *Enhanced DBS check*
Hourly Rate £12.21phÂ
Job Purpose
The post holder will work to professional cleaning standards and national guidance at all times.
The post holder will be responsible for providing and maintaining an efficient and professional domestic support function to the buildings.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Â First point of contact for cleaning issues, liaising with their Line Manager, ensuring that all issues raised are dealt with in a courteous and diplomatic manner.
- To provide a domestic support function within the specified area ensuring specified tasks are completed within the agreed timeframe and within the boundaries of competence.
- Organises own workload, in line with the requirements of the cleaning specification.
- Communicate with staff within the domestic team and also with other staff using the building, on issues around cleaning/ security/ access etc (mainly routine issues)
- Ensure all Domestic Local Operational Procedures are adhered to. Maintaining safety and security of the building eg signing in and out.
- Use cleaning equipment to carry out role. Liaise with their Line Manager in relation to machine maintenance and provision of supplies.
- To ensure fire regulations are adhered to.Â
