We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a friendly educational setting in Pontefract on a temporary basis for approximately 8-12 weeks. To be considered for this role you must have an in date Enhanced DBS, be available for an immediate start as well as have satisfactory references in place
- 8-12 Week Temporary Assignment
- The shift is Monday - Thursday 15:00 to 18:00, Fridays 14:30 - 17:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Replenishing cleaning supplies where required
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the school
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Checkable work references covering recent employment history
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
