Catch 22 are working with a large healthcare organisation and is looking for an Electrical Engineer to carry out the safe maintenance of building systems within a large site in the Keighley, Bradford region. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-known healthcare employer that offers great opportunities, benefits and progression. This role is ideal for someone that has previously been an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Craftsman who is seeking a site-based role.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out complex maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on specialist healthcare building systems e.g. power distribution boards and installations, high and low voltage maintenance, including generators, door entry and fire alarm systems, PAT testing, emergency lighting, external lighting, and medical equipment.
- Analyze and/or diagnose and repair faults.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
- Strong customer care and confidentiality focus.
- Good communication skills, positive and proactive approach.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers when needed.
Ideal Candidate
- Hold relevant technical qualifications within Electrical services - Minimum City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3.
- Testing & Inspection Qualified - 18th edition and 2391/2392.
- Have a minimum 3 years experience working within an Electrical Engineering role from a facilities environment (Essential).
- Have some knowledge of Mechanical Engineering from within a facilities environment (Preferred but not a must).
- Have strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
- Hold previous experience working within a large commercial building, ideally within healthcare environment and knowledge of BMS systems (Preferred).
Role Package
- Salary of around Β£38,000 - on a permanent 37.5 hour contract.
- Static role.
- Great flexible working hours, Mon - Fri - Overtime and weekend work available if wanted.
- Working with a well-known organisation with progression and training opportunities.
