The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Digital Communications Officer will be responsible for researching, co-ordinating and creating dynamic digital content across social media, website and digital newsletters which excites, engages and informs our audiences and delivers impact for the Catapult. You will:
- Create, edit and schedule engaging and dynamic digital content that is consistent with the Catapult’s brand, strategy and messaging
- Work strategically to deliver content that is aligned to the Catapult’s priorities and objectives
- Use initiative to come up with ideas for a wide range of integrated digital campaigns, working with colleagues across the organisation to source and develop stories and ideas
- Plan and schedule content according to the organisation’s activities and the wider trends happening across the industry
- Use data and analytics to provide insight on our audience and to inform future campaigns or activities
- Keep up to date with digital communications trends and the latest tools, technologies and channels
- Be a digital champion and provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on using social media, ensuring that individuals act in line with company policies
- Turn complex ideas and technologies into simple, clear and concise digital content
- Work with industry partners and create digital content that promotes joint activities and projects
- Manage the accounts and relationships with social media platforms and tools
