WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT PRODUCT DESIGN
We are looking for a talented Product Designer whose curiosity and determination to create superior product experiences align with our ambitious, fast-growing, and transforming company. Based in London, you will add user experience and interaction design skills to our product delivery squads, promoting the importance of a collaborative and iterative design process.
As a Product Designer, you will be essential in supporting the full scope of user experience design. Your responsibilities will include driving continuous customer discovery through outcome-focused research plans, iterating and refining designs via prototyping and evaluation, and communicating implementation details through wireframes, prototypes, and specifications. You will also facilitate design reviews and collaborate closely with the product design team to deliver user-friendly, accessible, and engaging product experiences that exceed customer expectations.
What you’ll do:
- Strategic Collaboration: Work as a strategic partner with product managers and engineers, aligning user insights, technical feasibility, and business goals to co-create innovative, user-centric solutions.
- User Research and Insights: Define and execute key product design activities, including continuous user research, synthesis, market analysis, stakeholder collaboration, ideation workshops, and design reviews. Leverage ongoing customer testing, analytics, and behavioral insights to refine and validate user-centered designs.
- User Experience Design: Identify and map key user workflows and use cases. Define and illustrate personas and user journeys. Build and maintain the product’s Information Architecture. Create, evaluate, and refine intuitive, efficient, and engaging user interfaces for complex workflows.
- Design Execution: Lead the creation of wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and visual design specifications. Collaborate with engineers to create and maintain a well-documented design system, including guidelines and examples for applying design and brand styles.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with, support, and learn from other designers to foster team growth and alignment. Drive continuous improvements to design processes, testing methodologies, and design operations.
What you’ll need:
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, communication and collaboration!
- Advanced knowledge of user-centred design and best practices to help define the customer exploration and user research strategy
- Solid understanding of desktop, web, mobile accessibility and standards, common UI patterns and usability best practices.
- Comfortable presenting to groups, facilitating testing sessions and explaining design options
- Proven experience working with Agile methodologies for delivering software
- Experience building products with web and native UI technologies and frameworks (React, QT)
- Experience with data visualization design
- Nice to have: experience with building sports or fitness-related products; experience as an athlete, coach or analyst using such products
