Our team collaborates with clients in over 50 countries, using our product, Catalyx Canvas, a transparent framework & interface that unites strategy, creativity, research, and validation. It clearly shows clients what information they have, what is missing, and provides the necessary tools to fill those gaps, leveraging AI-enabled creativity and consumer research discovery.
The Role:
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand and develop your client portfolio. Identify and engage with key decision-makers at key companies, fostering strong relationships and positioning Catalyx as their preferred innovation consultancy partner.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Strategy/Delivery, Operations & Product Development, aligning sales efforts with our service offerings and client needs.
- End-to-End Sales Ownership: Demonstrable expertise across the complete sales process, from prospecting and impactful pitches to contract negotiation and deal closures, ensuring a seamless and value-driven experience for our clients.
- Ownership of individual sales funnel to ensure sufficiency against revenue target. Engaging with and utilising KPI’s to ensure actions ladder up into the strategic sales plan.
- Strategic Insights and Recommendations: Partnering with our Strategy Team to leverage our extensive knowledge of Insight and innovation consultancy to provide strategic insights and recommendations, empowering clients to unlock growth opportunities.
- Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends and the general competitive landscape to continually enhance our service offerings and position our point of difference clearly.
- Client Relationship Management: Effectively manage client relationships, prioritising high levels of satisfaction, retention, and cultivating repeat business. Owning and creating opportunities and mitigating risks to high levels of satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
- Developing a pathway towards top-tier relationship building, utilising Catalyx assets. Converting high-quality proposals into profitable solutions that drive growth.
- Be (or bring) the expert in the room, able to interrogate and challenge the client’s objectives, goals, strategies and measures of success.
- Strategic Contribution: Collaborate with the leadership team to refine sales strategies, optimise processes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of Catalyx.
- Learning & Development (L&D) Delivery: Utilise technical and leadership experiences, along with best practice content, to contribute to the wider team and business's learning and development.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to marketing collateral such as thought pieces, blogs, topical features, and solution/case study explainers. Develop and leverage assets for deployment at clients to reshape thinking and highlight Catalyx process and solution thinking.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience selling complex innovation solutions via a consultative sales approach, from initial consultancy engagements through to long-term, platform-based subscription relationships with large FMCG, CPG, and consumer goods organisations.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, both acquiring & developing new clients and in unlocking substantial growth from a diverse client portfolio.
- Proven experience of leveraging social media, industry events, and targeted engagement to increase awareness and consideration for insight-led solutions, with a track record of building scalable commercial models that accelerate growth over time.
- Able to unlock revenue opportunities from your existing network and relationships with key decision-makers in the FMCG, CPG, and consumer goods sectors.
- Demonstrably leverage your expertise within market research, innovation consultancy, and consumer goods industry dynamics in order to engage prospects, surface and shape briefs.
- Experience in transitioning new clients into successful repeat buying relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative sales approaches tailored to client needs.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, capable of analysing market trends, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
