About the role

Our client, a specialist consultancy based in Newcastle upon Tyne, creates tailored technology solutions for the complex and demanding defence & finance sectors. As their organisation continues to grow in the region, they now seek to appoint a graduate HR Operations Analyst to manage the administrative lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

Your specific responsibilities as graduate HR Operations Analyst will include:

  • Co-ordinating the onboarding of new hires
  • Generating offer letters, conducting pre-employment screening, reference checks and right to work verification
  • Maintaining new joiner checklists, guides and induction materials
  • Processing promotions, transfers, contract amendments and leavers, using HRIS
  • Administering reference requests with third parties
  • Maintaining and updating accurate employee records in line with GDPR guidelines
  • Resolving queries from employees and managers
  • Assisting with data cleansing and audit activities
  • Liaising with external providers of background screening, benefits and payroll

As graduate HR Operations Analyst you will need:

  • A 2:1 degree from a top 25 UK university
  • Prior exposure to HR administration an advantage
  • Confident working with data and systems, such as Excel
  • Highly organised, discreet and trustworthy
