About the role\\n\\nMy client is a leading specialist engineering business based in Gateshead with a proud history. Reporting to the Site Director, my clients seeks a QHSE Manager to join the team to lead on all quality, health, safety and environmental strategy and management.\\n\\nMain responsibilities\\n\\n * Lead and advise on Group QHSE policy\\n\\n * Maintain company ISO accreditations i.e. ISO 45001, 9001 and 4001\\n\\n * Review and amend the quality assurance manual as and when necessary\\n\\n * Conduct quality and spot audits as necessary to ensure compliance\\n\\n * Production of annual group management reports.\\n\\n * Attend audits with 3rd party assessors\\n\\n * Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation\\n\\n * Supplier quality management , improvement and development.

Working with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications\\n\\n * Application of environmental and health/safety standards\\n\\n * Establishing clearly defined quality standards and methodology\\n\\n * Documentation control and management\\n\\n * Identifying relevant quality-related training needs\\n\\n * Establishing standards of service for customers or clients\\n\\n * Monitoring performance through audits and gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports\\n\\nAbout you\\n\\nTo be considered for the role it is essential that you possess demonstrable experience gained as a Quality & Health, Safety and Enviornment Manager ideally gained working within an engineering or fabrication business.\\n\\nKey selection criteria\\n\\n * HND equivalent or higher in a relevant discipline\\n\\n * NEBOSH certification\\n\\n * IOSH certification\\n\\n * ISO45001, ISO9001 and ISO4001 Auditor Training.\\n\\n * Site operation know how\\n\\n * Proven experience in a similar role within a medium/heavy engineering environment would be advantageous\\n\\n * Knowledge and experience of quality standards in particular ISO 9001: 2015\\n\\n * Fully experienced with IT Software packages – Word, Excel, Project, Outlook\\n\\n * Strong report writing skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.\\n\\n * Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing HSE practices.\\n\\n * Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, particularly in conducting root cause analysis.\\n\\n * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.\\n\\n * Full valid driving licence
