The Role

As a Performance Marketing Lead at Catalyst, you'll be at the heart of some of the most exciting D2C brands in the market, taking ownership of their paid media strategy. You'll lead campaign execution and strategic direction across paid social channels (primarily Meta and TikTok), managing large always-on budgets of >£50K per month and optimising to performance KPIs including ROAS and CPA. You're someone who thrives on building strong client relationships, loves testing new ideas, and brings proactivity to everything you do. You'll be accountable for the performance of your portfolio, and you'll have real visibility, presenting directly to clients, leading QBRs and monthly reviews, and acting as a trusted strategic partner. This is also a role with genuine leadership scope. As we continue to grow, there will be clear opportunities to step into further management, helping shape how the performance team is built and run.

What You'll Do

  • Own the strategic direction across paid social accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, confident client relationships through weekly calls, in-person business reviews, and office hours.
  • Lead QBRs, monthly performance reviews, and creative reviews across your portfolio.
  • Manage and mentor a Performance Marketing Executive, setting priorities and maintaining high standards of delivery.
  • Drive a proactive testing agenda.
  • Collaborate with the creative team on performance creative strategy and launch cycles.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in paid social (Meta essential; TikTok a strong plus).
  • A confident, relationship-first mindset.
  • Proactive by nature: you don't wait to be told what to test, you come with ideas.
  • Strong data literacy, able to draw insights from complex datasets and make a compelling case from them.
  • Solid understanding of Meta best practices and platform nuances, with an eye for what's next.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of what performance marketing means for a brand's bottom line.
  • A team player who's equally comfortable leading and rolling their sleeves up.

What Catalyst Offers

  • We've grown from 6 to 60 people in just three years and we're not slowing down.
  • Clear pathways to exec-level management as the team scales.
  • A converted-museum office in Elephant & Castle (Tues & Thurs in-office, with flexibility for those outside London).
  • The ability to work from anywhere.
  • Regular socials and company celebrations.
  • A genuinely lovely team: ambitious, talented, and supportive.
