Established for 40 years, our client, a food wholesaler, has built up an enviable reputation for its commitment to consistently providing a professional service to its prestigious hospitality customers whilst maintaining the highest quality of products. They now seek to recruit an experienced part-time Administrator to join their existing team.
Reporting directly to one of the Directors, your typical daily duties will include:
- Working early shifts
- Inputting orders received during the night, in preparation for commencement of production
- Taking & processing orders by phone and email
- Handling customer queries by phone or email
- Taking card payments for goods over the phone
- Handling cash
- Liaising with the company’s drivers regarding customer deliveries
- Dealing with a range of basic finance-related tasks (full training provided)
As Administrator you’ll need:
- The ability to multi-task
- To be capable of working at a fast pace
- A good eye for detail
- To enjoy a varied role
- The ability to pick things up quickly
- Fast keyboard skills
N.B. Hours of work are 4.30am to 7.30am, across five days a week, with 2 in 4 or 3 in 4 Saturday mornings till 12pm (no Sundays). Daytime hours are available on Mondays too either returning at 9am or 9:30am and working until 2:30pm or 3pm OR working through from 4:30am to 1:30pm (to be agreed/discussed).
