Legal Cashier
Our client has been practising law in the North East for 150 years and is particularly well-respected for its commercial, family and property law expertise. Acknowledged for offering professionalism, clear communication and effective legal advice, they now seek to appoint a Legal Cashier for their Newcastle office.
As Legal Cashier, you will:
Process client-related financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal regulations
Post client and practice bank statements
Raise WIP and disbursement bills
Check and process completion packs
Process client reconciliations, ensuring all entries are recorded correctly in the accounting system
Conduct general controls reviews
As Legal Cashier, you will need:
Previous experience in a similar role
Good analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills
A strong eye for detail
Good knowledge of Excel
