The organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations and ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee-related data. This role offers exposure to a broad range of payroll activities and provides an excellent opportunity to further develop payroll and HR administration experience within a global business environment.

About the role:

  • Support the delivery of payroll processes, ensuring employee data is accurately maintained and processed within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare, review and validate payroll-related information, including employee lifecycle changes, variable payments, deductions and benefits data.
  • Maintain accurate records, process documentation and procedural guidance to support operational consistency.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliations and reporting activities to help ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond to employee and stakeholder queries, providing timely and professional support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure workforce changes are captured correctly and reflected in payroll processing.
  • Support compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Assist with benefits and pension administration activities, including routine data checks and record maintenance.
  • Produce regular reports and management information to support operational and business requirements.
  • Liaise with external service providers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and support service delivery.
  • Contribute to periodic reporting, audit requests and year-end administrative activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies across payroll and related operations.
  • Handle sensitive employee data in accordance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.

About you:

  • Previous experience supporting payroll, HR operations or employee administration activities.
  • Experience working with HR, payroll or workforce management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive employee data accurately.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills, including experience working with spreadsheets and reports.
  • Understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements and data governance principles.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach to stakeholder support.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and with external providers.
  • Experience supporting reconciliations, reporting or administrative processes within a business environment.
