Catalyst Partners is delighted to be partnering with a leading global Asset Management organisation on the appointment of a Head of Human Resources - Investments.

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded investment platform at a pivotal stage in its evolution. The role will play a critical part in shaping the people strategy for a sophisticated, international investment business with a growing presence across both public and private markets.

Working closely with senior investment leaders, including CIOs and executive stakeholders, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor on all aspects of talent, organisation effectiveness, leadership, succession, reward and workforce strategy.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading the people agenda across a complex investment organisation, ensuring the business is positioned to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent whilst supporting long-term growth objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with senior investment leaders and executive stakeholders on strategic people priorities.
  • Leading organisational design, workforce planning and succession initiatives.
  • Supporting business transformation, integration and change programmes.
  • Advising on executive talent, leadership development and culture.
  • Providing strategic input on reward, incentives and retention for investment populations.
  • Managing complex employee relations and organisational challenges within a highly regulated environment.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing HR team.
  • Working across multiple international jurisdictions, balancing local requirements with global business objectives.

Candidate Profile

We are interested in speaking with experienced HR leaders who can demonstrate:

  • A strong track record within asset management, investment management, private markets, alternatives or broader financial services.
  • Experience partnering senior investment professionals, CIOs, portfolio managers and executive leadership teams.
  • A deep understanding of the talent and organisational dynamics within investment-led businesses.
  • Experience operating across international markets and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Proven success leading transformation, integration, organisational redesign and change initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen, executive presence and influencing capability.
  • The ability to balance business objectives with governance, risk and regulatory considerations.
