A growing professional services group in Central and Southern England is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its People and Culture team. The organisation works with entrepreneurial businesses and private clients and is known for developing high‑performing teams with strong technical expertise. More about the role:
- The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the Group Talent Acquisition Manager and manage the full recruitment process for a range of mid‑level roles across the business.
- Managing the end‑to‑end process for part‑qualified, newly qualified and corporate functions roles.
- Working closely with hiring managers and partners to define requirements, shape job briefs and recommend effective hiring strategies.
- Screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates while ensuring a professional and inclusive experience for all applicants.
- Using a blend of sourcing approaches including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking and agencies.
- Building and maintaining agency relationships, negotiating rates and monitoring performance.
- Acting as a trusted recruitment partner to managers, directors and partners across multiple offices.
- Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses and helping to embed consistent recruitment practices.
- Providing market insights, salary data and guidance on best practice.
- Becoming a subject matter expert on the ATS (HiBob), maintaining accurate data and identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve consistency and reduce costs.
- Ensuring recruitment activity complies with employment law, GDPR and internal audit requirements.
- Supporting inclusive hiring practices and contributing to wider DEI initiatives across the group.
- Working closely with HR, L&D, IT, Marketing and Finance.
- Supporting the offer process, drafting offer documentation, managing right‑to‑work and reference checks and coordinating onboarding communication.
More about you:
- Experience managing a range of mid‑level and senior vacancies from sourcing to offer.
- A relevant qualification such as CIPD Level 3/5 or CertIHR (desirable but not essential).
- Experience using an ATS, we use HiBob.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and relevant professional job boards.
- The ability to manage high volumes of roles across multiple locations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with varied stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Canva, and the ability to pick up new tools quickly.
- An understanding of how AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot or Metaview can enhance the recruitment process.
- Excellent attention to detail, even under pressure.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to prioritising work.
- A full UK driving licence for travel between offices.
