This newly created Recruitment Assistant role sits within the London Human Resources team and will play a pivotal part in supporting the full spectrum of recruitment activity, spanning graduate intake, lateral fee-earner hiring, and business services recruitment. Key Responsibilities:- Graduate Recruitment
- Coordinate administration for law fairs and campus events, including bookings, materials, logistics and attendance.
- Support the delivery of Vacation Schemes: induction, seat allocations, workshop scheduling, socials and feedback collation.
- Assist with assessment centres, handling scheduling, room bookings, diary management and candidate communication.
- Maintain graduate recruitment webpages and contribute to the annual graduate brochure refresh.
- Manage candidate applications, including assessment distribution, marking coordination and preparation of application bundles.
- Lateral Fee Earner & Business Services Recruitment
- Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics, liaising with hiring managers, candidates and agencies.
- Maintain the recruitment portal by uploading job descriptions, tracking applications and issuing updates or outcomes.
- Monitor recruitment pipelines, updating trackers and preparing regular status reports.
- General Recruitment Support
- Prepare offer documentation and support onboarding for trainee and vacation scheme cohorts.
- Serve as a key contact for internal and external recruitment-related queries.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the wider London HR team as needed.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with confident stakeholder engagement.
- High attention to detail and accuracy across all administrative tasks.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Flexibility to support occasional out-of-hours recruitment events or deadlines.
