Catalyst is partnering with a highly respected boutique advisory platform headquartered in London, with a growing presence in New York and other key international markets. As part of a wider investment in people and infrastructure, the firm is establishing a new in-house recruitment function to support its continued global expansion.
Within this newly created function, you will take on a brand new role as the firm’s In House Investment Banking Recruiter. You will help shape how the organisation attracts, evaluates and hires talent across front office advisory teams and key operational areas. This is an opportunity to help build a recruiting engine from the ground up, working closely with senior leadership to introduce structure, data led decision making and a consistent approach to hiring across regions.
Based in London, you will own the end to end recruitment process for hiring at VP level and below, acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and providing market insight, process rigour and first class candidate management throughout.
Key Responsibilities:- Talent acquisition and stakeholder partnership
- Lead direct recruitment across multiple business areas, with primary responsibility for hiring at VP level and below across front office investment banking teams and core operational functions.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior management, sharing market insight, influencing hiring decisions and ensuring recruitment activity reflects business needs across London, New York and the firm’s developing regions.
- Manage full cycle recruitment, including briefing, sourcing, assessment, interview management, offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Pipeline development and market mapping
- Build and maintain targeted talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, market mapping, referral generation and effective use of LinkedIn Recruiter and the internal ATS.
- Develop regionally informed sourcing strategies to ensure a high quality, diverse and engaged pipeline of candidates.
- You will conduct ongoing competitor research and talent intelligence reporting to support hiring plans.
- Process enhancement and recruiting infrastructure
- You will help evolve the firm’s recruitment processes, introducing structure, transparency and consistency across all stages of hiring.
- Implement and refine performance metrics, dashboards and other data led tools to support clear, informed hiring decisions.
- Enhance both the candidate and stakeholder experience through streamlined workflows and high quality, professional communication.
- Will have 3+ years of experience recruiting for investment banking roles, gained either in house or within an agency or search environment. This experience is essential given the pace, complexity and technical expectations of front office advisory hiring.
- Will be proactive and research driven, with strong skills in market mapping, sourcing strategy and competitive intelligence.
- Must be commercially minded and able to operate at pace, understanding the expectations and working styles of high performing advisory teams.
- You must be precise, organised and able to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
