Head of Rewards

Full-Time On-site

Our client is a private equity-backed business with approximately 500 employees and an ambitious growth agenda. Having evolved through expansion across multiple business entities, the organisation is seeking an experienced Reward professional to establish a coherent and scalable reward framework that supports its next phase of growth.

This is a standalone role with significant visibility across the business. The successful individual will take ownership of the reward agenda, designing and implementing reward processes from the ground up, establishing robust governance, and driving greater consistency across multiple operating entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior reward professional who enjoys combining strategic design with hands-on delivery and wants to make a lasting impact within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organisation's reward strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Design, build and embed core reward processes, policies and governance frameworks across the business.
  • Lead the harmonisation of reward structures, practices and principles across multiple business entities.
  • Manage annual compensation activities including salary reviews, benchmarking, incentive planning and pay governance.
  • Provide reward expertise and advice to senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making on remuneration matters.
  • Establish reliable reward data, reporting and analytics capabilities to support workforce planning and remuneration decisions.
  • Review and enhance reward programmes to ensure they remain competitive, equitable and commercially effective.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to drive understanding and adoption of reward policies and frameworks.

Candidate Profile / Experience:

  • Significant experience in reward, compensation and benefits, with a track record of operating at a senior level.
  • Experience building or transforming reward frameworks within a complex, growing or multi-entity organisation.
  • Strong understanding of reward governance, market benchmarking, job architecture and remuneration best practice.
  • Previous experience within private equity-backed, financial services or similarly fast-paced environments would be advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex reward issues clearly.
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence working with reward data to inform business decisions.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to operate effectively as a standalone reward specialist.
