You will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. You will work closely with senior leadership and line managers to ensure HR practices are aligned with business goals and support a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, liaise with agencies, conduct background checks, and oversee onboarding logistics.
- Benefits Administration: Maintain pension and private medical insurance schemes, manage monthly payroll inputs, and lead annual renewals.
- Performance Management: Support managers in performance reviews, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- HR Systems: Maintain and optimise the HRIS (Bamboo HR), ensuring accurate employee records.
- Employee Relations: Provide pragmatic advice on performance, conduct, and absence issues.
- Policy Development: Create and implement HR policies that reflect best practice and support business needs.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within financial services.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commercial awareness and sound judgement.
- Proficiency in Excel and data reporting.
- Discreet and diplomatic, with a strong understanding of confidentiality.
