Contract Details: £500–£600 per day (Inside IR35) | Remote with some travel (UK-based). Applicants must be immediately available to be considered.

Overview: Our client is a global organisation with a complex, multi-jurisdictional workforce and a strong focus on evolving its reward and governance frameworks. They are seeking a strong EU Pay Transparency Specialist to lead a critical programme of work across compliance, pay equity, and compensation design to ensure readiness for the directive. This role offers the opportunity to shape the organisation’s response to the EU Pay Transparency Directive, ensuring readiness across impacted regions. In parallel, the successful candidate will lead the development of global pay band structures for business services populations, aligning reward frameworks with market benchmarks and internal job architecture. This is a high-visibility role, requiring strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and technical reward expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the EU Pay Transparency programme, including planning, governance, and execution across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into practical policies, frameworks, and processes in collaboration with HR, Finance, and external advisors.
  • Oversee pay gap analysis, including identification, investigation, and reporting of disparities, ensuring robust audit and disclosure readiness.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive understanding of pay transparency obligations and embed best practice across the organisation.
  • Develop and deliver communication and change strategies to support organisational adoption and compliance.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in reward or compensation roles within a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of EU pay transparency regulations, pay equity principles, and job evaluation methodologies.
  • Demonstrated project management capability, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex pay data to inform decision-making.
