Job Title: Deferred Compensation Specialist

Location: London (hybrid)

Sector: Financial Services

Contract: 12 month FTC (potential to turn permanent)

Position Overview: Catalyst Partners have partnered with a leading Financial Services firm on the search for Deferred Compensation Specialist to support performance, reward, and benefits initiatives across Europe. This role focuses on analysing compensation data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering a competitive, equitable reward framework. You\’ll also play a key role in implementing a new deferred compensation system and supporting global reward initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end rollout of a new deferred compensation platform for EMEA, acting as the regional subject-matter expert.
  • Define requirements, test system functionality, manage data migration, and ensure operational readiness in partnership with HR Tech, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Map, streamline, and document processes, creating SOPs and controls to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Support global alignment of deferred compensation governance and help shape scalable, future-state operating models.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR and business teams on new processes and system capabilities.
  • Contribute to the annual compensation cycle, regulatory disclosures, and reward analytics.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in reward/deferred compensation, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and present data insights.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across regions.
  • Skilled in MS Office; Workday knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, detail-driven, collaborative, and comfortable managing complex workflows.
