Catalyst Event Production Services delivers seamless event production combining technical precision, creative design, and expert project management to produce impactful events across the UK and internationally. From lighting, sound, video, and staging to set design and content delivery, we handle every element in house to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional results. Our experienced team works closely with clients from concept to delivery, providing full production planning, live show support, and post event services. With a fully equipped 12,000 sq ft workshop in Dalgety Bay, we also fabricate custom scenic elements, offering both creative control and reliable execution under one roof.

40 hours per week spread over 5 days. Reports to: Finance Director in conjunction with General Manager.

Required experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience with Xero.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a bookkeeping position.

Key Tasks to be performed:

  • Reconcile and manage bank accounts, credit cards.
  • Use Xero accounting software to get accounts to Trial Balance Stage.
  • Have experience in Trial Balance reconciliations.
  • Work directly with FD to maintain break even analysis for various business activities and use to make financial decisions.
  • Process Payroll / P11ds/ P60s / PAYE/ Year End.
  • Pay suppliers.
  • Handle quarterly VAT.
  • Work with our accountants to manage and maintain payroll.
  • Oversee invoicing for Services, Equipment, Projects and Workshops Services.
  • Oversee the collections of accounts receivable including chasing debtors.
  • Reconcile employee expenses and reimbursements.
  • Manage and maintain insurances (travel, public liability, etc.).
  • Maintain office equipment and related service contracts.
