Catalyst Consulting is a boutique, revenue-centric performance marketing consultancy. We work with a small number of high-growth B2B companies and take full ownership of pipeline and revenue outcomes — not vanity metrics.
This role is client-facing and not entry-level. We are hiring a Key Account Manager to own client communication, project coordination, and operational excellence across Catalyst accounts. You are the connective tissue between strategy, execution, and the client.
The Role
This role exists because great performance marketing fails without clear communication, structure, and accountability. You will own the client relationship and internal coordination, ensuring nothing slips, nothing gets miscommunicated, and nothing is reactive. You are not here to “check in.” You are here to run accounts operationally.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Client Ownership
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned US-based clients
- Lead client communication via Slack, email, and scheduled calls
- Translate strategy into clear updates clients actually understand
- Set expectations clearly and proactively — no surprises
- Project & Workflow Management
- Own project management inside ClickUp
- Create, manage, and enforce timelines, tasks, and priorities
- Coordinate between performance marketers, strategists, and leadership
- Ensure deliverables are on time, correct, and aligned with strategy
- Internal Operations
- Keep accounts running cleanly and predictably
- Maintain documentation, notes, and assets in Google Drive
- Ensure Slack communication is structured, actionable, and professional
- Flag risks, blockers, or scope issues before they become problems
Performance Context (Not Execution)
Understand the fundamentals of performance marketing. Speak intelligently about funnels, lead quality, pipeline, and paid media performance (high level). You will not run ads, but you must understand what’s happening well enough to manage clients confidently.
CRM & Process
Work inside HubSpot to track pipeline status, understand lead flow and sales feedback, support reporting and client conversations, and ensure marketing and sales alignment stays tight.
This Role Is For You If…
- You have near-native or native-level English (written and spoken)
- You have experience working directly with US-based clients
- You are calm, organized, and extremely clear in communication
- You think in systems, timelines, and priorities
- You take ownership naturally and don’t wait to be told what to do
- You’ve worked in fast-moving, high-expectation environments
- You enjoy being the person who keeps everything running smoothly
This Role Is NOT For You If…
- Your English is conversational but not professional-level
- You struggle to lead calls or push back when needed
- You need constant direction or reassurance
- You dislike process, documentation, or structure
- You want to “ease into” responsibility
- You are primarily looking for a creative or execution role
Required Experience
- Near-native / fluent English (written + spoken)
- Experience working with US-based clients
- Strong project management background
- Hands-on experience with ClickUp, Slack, Google Drive, and HubSpot
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Foundational understanding of performance marketing strongly preferred
- Paid media, funnels, pipeline, and revenue concepts
Compensation & Benefits
Target Salary: 40,000 GBP
100% Remote
Flexible schedule — outcomes matter, not hours
Unlimited PTO
Mental health days encouraged
Work directly with a high-performing, senior team
No fluff, no politics, no chaos
