Join Nurseline Community Services to provide compassionate, high-complex mental health care at home for people with behaviour that challenges and personality disorders. We are looking for dedicated HCAs to lead the delivery of person-centred mental health services directly in people’s homes, ensuring care is both effective and reflective of our community values.

The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is responsible for delivering comprehensive healthcare services directly in people’s homes. This role is crucial in managing complex emotional needs, including behaviour that challenges and personality disorders, ensuring care is both effective and reflective of Nurseline Community Services’ values. You may be required to work a short (4–8 hour) or longer shifts. Shift patterns vary depending on the care package and support needs of each person we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mobility support, including basic moving and handling.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Help with meal preparation, nutrition, hydration, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and, when needed, financial assistance.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation and records.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 6 months of previous experience in healthcare settings, in community or home-based care.
- Experience in managing complex health needs, with a focus on mental health, and working with diverse populations.
- Driving license is essential for community work and transport of the people we support.
- PMVA training is required.
