Responsibilities
- Support participation in physical activities such as brisk walking, sports, and gardening.
- Create and facilitate engaging, person-centered activities aligned with the individual’s interests and needs.
- Assist with daily living tasks to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Encourage and support social engagement and family connections.
- Communicate clearly with the care team and family to ensure seamless support.
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision to maintain high standards of care.
- Commit to building trust and long-term consistency in the role.
Qualifications and Experience
- High level of physical fitness required, including the ability to walk (or run if needed) at least 8 km per day at a fast pace.
- Non-smokers required (health reasons).
- Advantageous to be a driver.
