The Opportunity As a Client Manager, your primary responsibility is to strategically partner with your Retail Media client developing strong client relationships across the business and a deep understanding of your client team’s strategic objectives. You will be adept at leveraging shopper analytics and market insights to deliver high‑impact marketing campaigns that drive measurable growth. You’ll clearly articulate Catalina’s campaign solutions, empowering your client to confidently resell these opportunities to their extensive CPG customer base. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll introduce innovative strategies, cultivate consultative client relationships, and continuously enhance processes to strengthen retail performance and shopper loyalty.

  • Drive proactive growth Identify and pursue new opportunities within retail media teams and across CPG brand networks — even when doors aren’t immediately open. Increase the breadth and scale of retail media campaigns across new brands and underpenetrated categories, enhancing retailer revenue and shopper engagement. Identify and introduce innovative campaign concepts to deliver retail clients' strategic priorities, increasing incremental investment and establishing Catalina as integral to campaign activation.
  • Lead with insight Translate market trends, competitive dynamics, and shopper behaviour into compelling, revenue‑generating campaign strategies. Develop insight‑led proposals aligned to retailer priorities and commercial objectives delivering measurable increases in shopper loyalty, revenue, and year‑over‑year campaign growth. Position innovative campaign concepts that unlock incremental investment.
  • Build and strengthen networks Proactively develop relationships across retail media and marketing stakeholders and gain a deep understanding of their business strategies, objectives and challenges. Act as a trusted, consultative partner — advising on best practice and growth opportunities. Clearly articulate Catalina’s full solution suite, enabling retail teams to confidently resell into their CPG base.
  • Deliver commercial excellence Own and ensure streamlined campaign execution by working successfully across the client base and internal functions to achieve consistently accurate, timely, and high‑quality outcomes to exceed retailer’s expectations. Forecast, track, and manage revenue and margin performance with discipline and accuracy. Adapt quickly to market shifts or client feedback to protect and grow performance.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. 2+ years of experience in client management, retail media, shopper marketing, FMCG, or related fields, demonstrating consistent delivery of campaign results and revenue targets. Proven experience developing persuasive, insight‑driven proposals tailored to retail marketing objectives, shopper behaviours, and budget parameters. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret shopper data and market insights, translating them effectively into actionable retail marketing strategies. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the capability to clearly articulate marketing solutions, build trust, and empower retail clients to successfully resell solutions to their CPG customer base. Demonstrated success in building and maintaining consultative client relationships, resulting in consistently positive client feedback, repeat business, and expanded partnership opportunities. Ability to identify and develop innovative, high‑impact campaign concepts aligned with retailer‑specific strategic priorities, leading to incremental investment and deeper client integration. Solid project management and organisational skills, capable of managing end‑to‑end campaign execution accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards from briefing through invoicing. Proven track record forecasting, tracking, and managing financial performance of campaigns, rapidly adapting strategies to meet evolving market conditions and client feedback. Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive problem‑solving capability, consistently identifying strategic marketing opportunities that enhance client investment and business outcomes. Experience evaluating competitive landscapes, shopper trends, and market conditions, translating insights into proactive strategies that allow retail clients to anticipate industry shifts and seize growth opportunities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
