In this pivotal role, you will lead operations of a designated process area, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. You will inspire a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and team development through strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
The Role:
- Operations Leadership
- Lead the operation team to deliver safe, compliant, high‑quality production.
- Ensure all critical processes are fully staffed and running efficiently.
- Health & Safety
- Champion site Health & Safety standards.
- Conduct investigations and maintain up‑to‑date risk assessments.
- Quality & Compliance
- Promote cGMP compliance and maintain an “Always Audit Ready” culture.
- Ensure batch records are completed accurately and on time.
- Continuous Improvement
- Lead deviation investigations (RCA, 5Y) and drive preventative actions.
- Reduce waste, improve processes, and enhance equipment reliability.
- People Leadership
- Coach, develop, and motivate a team of up to 15 employees.
- Manage performance, attendance, and communication to support business goals.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in leading operational teams within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or other quality-controlled environments.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to lead structured root‑cause investigations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (JD Edwards, Trackwise desirable).
- Positive, energetic approach with strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
- Passionate about developing people and driving performance excellence.
