Catalent requires a QC Scientist to join our Quality Chemistry team. This is a shift-based role located at our Swindon Manufacturing site. The successful candidate will conduct analysis in support of QC Release, Stability, and in-process Validation, with the ability to work as part of a team. Shift pattern: 4 On / 4 Off 07:00-19:00 The role: Conduct Finished Product QC release testing using techniques such as Balances, pH meter, UV, Karl Fisher, FT-IR, TLC, Dissolution, and HPLC, with supervision as required. Generate simple test plans for validation projects. Write stability reports based on protocols and test results. Maintain working knowledge of Quality systems like LIMS and Qumas. Follow written instructions with minimal deviations. Perform analytical work with standard volumes/output, ensuring data accuracy and minimal human error. Manage daily tasks with minimal supervision, interpret product tracking sheets, and identify out-of-specification results. The candidate: BSc or MSc in Chemistry or related scientific field.
