Our Bathgate location in Scotland, UK is an integral part of Catalent’s European clinical supply services network. The facility has a comprehensive range of capabilities to support sponsors’ studies throughout the UK, Europe and beyond, including clinical supply management, FastChain® demand-led supply, clinical-scale commercial packaging, and QP release services.

We are seeking a Project Financial Analyst to join our Clinical Supply Management team. In this role, you will support the delivery of financial insight across clinical supply projects, helping to drive informed decision-making and ensure strong financial performance. Working closely with Project Management and operational teams, you will provide accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting while building strong relationships across the business and with external clients.

The Role:

  • Financial Planning & Modelling: Support budgets, forecasts, and financial models across projects and programmes
  • Financial Reporting: Produce timely and accurate reporting, analysing performance against budget and forecast
  • Cost Management: Partner with Project Managers and Clinical Supply teams to ensure full project cost visibility
  • Scope & Quotations: Review out-of-scope activities and support preparation of quotes for additional work
  • Project Forecasting: Assist with forecasting total project costs, including monthly cost phasing
  • Data Analysis: Deliver regular and ad hoc financial analysis to support business decision making
  • Client Finance Support: Engage with client finance contacts to resolve billing queries and support accounts receivable
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing process improvements across Clinical Supplies Services

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a financial analyst or similar role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerBi skills
  • Experience with JD Edwards is advantageous
  • Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable presenting financial information to stakeholders at different levels
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing environments is advantageous
