Position Summary:
- Shifts: Early: 06:00 – 14:00 (Monday–Friday)
- Late: 13:30 – 22:00 (Monday–Wednesday), 13:30 – 19:00 (Thursday–Friday)
- Night: 21:00 – 07:00 (Monday–Wednesday), 21:00 – 06:30 (Thursday)
At our Dartford Micronization Technology (CMT) site, our mission is to be the industry’s partner of choice for high‑potent, high‑value API micronization. Supplying 40 micronized products to a broad customer base, we are committed to continuous improvement and people development—enabling every team member to grow, contribute, and thrive. We are currently recruiting a Quality Control Analyst on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will perform analytical testing on a variety of samples in alignment with defined methods, SOPs, and agreed timelines, ensuring consistent compliance with cGMP standards.
The Role:
- Perform analytical testing including (but not limited to):
- Routine particle size analysis (laser diffraction)
- Cleaning verification (HPLC)
- Identification testing (FTIR/Raman)
- Method development and validation
- Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
- Method optimisation and troubleshooting
- Technology transfer activities
- Pharmacopoeia testing as required
Ensure all testing is completed accurately, efficiently, and within cGMP guidelines. Maintain accurate, legible, and clear documentation in accordance with cGMP standards. Prepare analytical test methods. Conduct environmental monitoring and periodic microbiological testing. Prepare analytical reports including Laboratory Investigations, Statements of Results, and Certificates of Analysis. Review, approve, and report on generated QC data for batch release.
The Candidate:
- Degree in a Scientific, Biotech, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with HPLC/Empower (highly desirable)
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Previous experience supporting analytical investigations (preferred)
