At our Dartford site (CMT) our mission is to be the industry choice for high potent, high value API micronization. Today, we supply ~40 micronized product to a wide range of customers and patients . Catalent is currently recruiting for a Quality Control Analyst to join our Dartford site. The role of a QC Analyst will see you perform analysis on analytical samples in accordance with defined analytical methods and Standard Operating Procedures within agreed timelines.

Early 06.00 – 14.00 Monday – Friday.

Late 13.30 – 22.00 – Thursday, Friday – 13.30 – 19.00

Night 9pm – Monday – Wednesday 21.00 – 07.00, Thursday – 21.00 – 06.30

The Role

  • Testing may include, but is not limited to, routine particle size analysis (laser diffraction), cleaning verification (HPLC), identification testing (FTIR/ Raman), method development and validation, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Method optimisation and trouble-shooting, technology transfer and pharmacopoeia analyses as appropriate.

  • Perform analytical testing in an accurate, timely and efficient manner, consistent with cGMP requirements.

  • Ensure documentation is accurate, legible and presented clearly and concisely, consistent with cGMP requirements.

  • Prepare analytical test methods.

  • Environmental Monitoring and periodically microbiological testing.

  • Prepare analytical reports: Laboratory Investigation, Statement of Results and Certificate of Analysis.

  • You will also review, approve and report on generated data for QC Release

  • Degree in a Scientific, Biotech or similar subject required or equivalent experience.

  • HPLC/ Empower experience highly desirable.

  • IT literate (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point).

  • Investigation experience preferable.
