The Role
Castore are seeking a determined, naturally talented videographer/cinematographer to join our fast-paced, ambitious in-house team of makers. We’re offering unrivalled access to some of the biggest names and successful teams across F1, Tennis, Football, Rugby and Cricket, as well as the opportunity to work alongside a team in crafting the visual and storytelling outputs of motion for our Castore mainline brand.
•Create video for team launch campaigns, mainline marketing, corporate, social media, and e-commerce.
•Confident direction of models and talent.
•Delivering video edits.
•Organising your daily workloads.
•Organise rentals and maintain video budgets alongside production.
•Remain relevant in industry-leading technologies and AI workflows with video.
•Manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines,
•Contribute towards visual direction within video.
•Contribute towards creative concepts and storyboarding within video briefs.
This role is on a six-month fixed-term contract
Responsibilities
Creative Direction
•Help develop and share creative film ideas with creative teams.
•Help pitch concepts by creating clear and engaging video Treatment documents.
•Direct a variety of motion formats.
•Shape the story, style and tone from planning through to delivery of video.
Cinematography & Camera Work
•Take on roles such as videographer, DOP, or Director as needed.
•Operate the camera during shoots, whether solo or as part of a team.
•Ensure visuals are consistent with brand and team guidelines across creative and e-commerce.
Production & Planning
•Support the planning process with tech recces, shot lists, lighting setups, and visual ideas.
•Help create or refine existing scripts, storyboards, and moodboards.
•Work closely with production on production and post scheduling.
Team Support & Collaboration
•Mentor and support less experienced filmmakers.
•Share feedback on visuals, storytelling, and technical setups.
•Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflows.
•Help set team goals and contribute to informal training.
•Ability to travel and work flexible hours when required, including weekends and evenings.
Skills & Experience
•Experience in model and talent direction.
•Knowledge of sports and fashion creative industries.
•Experience in editing/colour grading.
•Understanding of the industry standard equipment across budgets, camera/lenses/lighting.
•Experience within adobe creative suite and Davinci resolve studio.
•Ability to travel and work flexible hours when required, including weekends and evenings.(time back in lieu given).
•Understanding of e-commerce and creative timelines.
