Our client is looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to join their team as Young Persons Support Workers. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people, promoting independence, and making a positive difference in their lives.
Pay & Contract: Flexible (Zero Hour Contract) £15 – £18 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day, trauma-informed support in line with care plans
- Support young people with daily living (meals, routines, cleanliness)
- Promote safety, wellbeing, and protect from harm
- Encourage healthy lifestyles and positive routines
- Support engagement with education, training, or employment
- Promote positive relationships within the community
- Support access to health appointments and external services
- Facilitate community, cultural, and leisure activities
- Transport young people when required (business insurance needed)
- Support ‘Family Time’ contact where appropriate
- Ensure young people’s voices are heard and acted upon
