Job Description

Our clients are seeking dedicated and skilled Machinist to join our production team at Gateshead Team Valley. The Machinist role will be to assist production in meeting required standards whilst ensuring all products are of correct quality standards and meet specifications. You will be required to utilize various machines to achieve customer orders on time in full.

Job Role / Duties:

  • Set up and ensure the day-to-day running of the Capper machine
  • Operate machines including wrappers, labellers, checkweigher, printers, and the Capper machine
  • Diagnose machine tool malfunctions and perform adjustments or repairs
  • Ensure product quality and correct codes
  • Assist in training new machinists
  • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE
  • Ensure clean as you go is adhered to

Shifts & Salary:

10pm – 6am Sunday to Thursday

£13.23 per hour plus shift allowance.
